Viola Lucille Esterline, 89, of Fort Wayne, went to be with the lord Tuesday September 30, 2008 at Parkview Hospital. She was born on August 30, 1919 in Huntington. She was a member of Saint Michael Lutheran Church and had a passion for sports and Fort Wayne Komet Hockey. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time at the lake. She retired from Magnavox. She is survived by her daughter, Jerrilynn Rodenbeck; three loving grandchildren, Christopher (Tisa) Rodenbeck of Albuquerque, NM. Rod Rodenbeck of Fort Wayne and Brent (Juliette) Rodenbeck of Petaluma, CA; two great grandchildren, Jessica and Marcello; two sisters, Mary Ellsworth of Mishawaka and Skiet Emley of Roanoke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Clinton Esterline in 1981, and two brothers, Benjamin Richards of Mishawaka and Eldon Richards who was killed in WWII.
