Violita "V" L. Combs, 44, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018.  She was born in the Philippines on March 18, 1974 to Crisanta and the late Nelson Lumanog.  Violita came to the United States in 2000 and lived in Kendallville until 2015 when she moved to Ft. Wayne.  Her passions were Photography, cooking, gardening, bowling, and listening to love songs and karaoke.  Violita had started Undergraduate work at Indiana Tech for Social Work.  She worked at Nishikawa Cooper for 9 years and then at Micro pulse for 1 years.  She was member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.

Surviving is her husband Toby Combs, daughter, Jasney M. Combs, siblings, Maria Luisa (Fernando) Destajo, Maribel (Rommel) Caballero, Dante (Glaiza) Lumanog and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 22, 2018 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with viewing 1 hour prior to service.  There is also viewing Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. www.covingtonmemorial.com
