Virginia R. Mosshammer, 95, passed Saturday, June 2, 2018.  She was born November 25, 1922 in Windsor, IL to the late Frank Redmond and Mona (Poe) Ryder.  Virginia's hobbies involved playing cards, reading, knitting, and crocheting.  Virginia retired from Maier's Menswear in 1988.  She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Virginia is survived by her children, Richard J. (Deborah) Stoeckley, Sandra L. Rice, Maryln J. Ondersma, Rebecca S. (Thomas)  Gepfert and Patricia A. Butler; sister, Margaret Potthoff; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer E. Mosshammer; sister, Mary E. Reams; and brothers, Robert and William Redmond.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 7, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd., with calling one hour prior at the church.    She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers memorials to Shepherd's House are appreciated.
