Walter Curry Sr., 80, passed away on Wednesday August 15, 2012 at his home in Ft. Wayne. He was born November 18, 1931 in Alabama to the late Huey and Josephine Curry. Walter retired in 1996 from General Electric after 36 years service. He was an Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict. Walter was a loving Husband to Rosetta W. Curry; and Father to Walter Jr (Judith). and Teria; Grandfather to Olivia, Dante, Austin, Bryson; Brother to, James, Robert, Clarence, Annie Kate, and Mary and Uncle to a host of nieces and nephews. Service is 12:00 Noon Wednesday August 22, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 2 hours prior to service. Officiating is Dr. John S. Park. In lieu of flowers family requests memorials to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
