Walter Roy McCombs, 83, died Saturday November 16, 2013. He was born May 17, 1930 in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Ernest H. and Berdella (West) McCombs. He retired from Advance Machine as a tool and die maker after 15 years service. He also worked at Bowmar Industries for 5 years. Walter was an Army Veteran, President of the Blue Dot Motor Cycle Club, Volunteer Auxiliary Fire Dept. As a young man he got his pilots license and enjoyed bowling, playing poker. His biggest passion was golf.

Surviving are his children, Debra A. (Don) LaBrun, Mark A. (Shirley) McCombs. Brothers, Ray McCombs, Richard (Carolyn) McCombs, Larry (Margot) McCombs, sister, Norma Jean (Dean) Walker.
Also surviving are, 3 grandchildren, Angela Sipe, Jennifer Kleber, Christopher Alan McCombs and 5 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Zack, Nikko, James, Jamie and sister-in-law,
Diane McCombs.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, JoAnn Olry and second wife, Ruth Shady, grandson, Michael Patrick McCombs, brothers, Robert and Harold McCombs, sister-in-law, Pat McCombs.
