WALTER HERMAN OTTO OSTERMEYER, 93, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, February 25, 2022. Born March 29, 1928, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Edwin and Janetta Ostermeyer. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church his entire life. He was a graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School and Indiana Business College. He served in the Indiana National Guard and the Indiana Air National Guard for five years. He was a business agent for Holiday on Ice touring North America for two years. Thereupon, he became a sole business owner for more than 60 years, during which, among other business endeavors, he owned "Mr. Music" in Decatur and then in Fort Wayne for more than 50 years.

He is survived by his: children, Kirk (Lori) Grable, Kimberly (Bradley, deceased) Recht, David (Marianne) Ostermeyer and Karen (Mark) Moore; grandchildren, Clint Grable, Ashley (Jacob) Shively, Lewis, Savannah and Sydney Ostermeyer, and Samuel, Abigail and Joseph Moore; and great grandchild, Eden Shively.

He was preceded in death by: his wife of 51 years, Georgianna; his brother, Clifford Ostermeyer; and his sister, Mary Ann Keefer.

Visitation is at 11:00 a.m., followed by the Memorial service at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 5, 2022, both at Zion Lutheran Church, 2313 S. Hanna, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46803, with the Rev. Douglas Punke officiating.
