Walter Sands, Jr., 75 of Huntington, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007. Walter had worked for the Huntington Herald Press for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Constance; children Kenneth of Kansas, Rodney of Huntington, Cynthia Myers of Huntington, Pam Barr of Huntington, Denda Brown of Huntington, Sandra Yoder of Huntington, Gloria Foster of Huntington, Michael Sands of Huntington, Barbara Pierson of Hartford City, Samantha Barlow of Huntington, Gregory of Huntington and Amy Stansell of Huntington; stepchildren Pamela Roark, James R. Morgan, Thomas R. Morgan and Rodney Morgan all of Huntington; 32 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 30 step-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and sisters Irene Miller, Mary Ann Bowman and Diana Sands. Walter is preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Irene Millington; brother Thomas Eugene Sands; a step son; one grandson and two step grand daughters Services will be on 11:00am Fri.
