Wanda Howell, 93, passed Monday, July 31, 2017. She was born August 1, 1923 in Modoc, Indiana, the daughter to the late Albert and Amy Lee . Wanda owned and operated her own hair salon Terrace Gardens out of her home for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Joe Methodist Church and a 50 year member of The Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile.

She is survived by her son, Doug (Marsha); grandchildren, Mindy (Philip) Rife, Angie (John) Lauer, Tonya (Jason) Cannell and Jessica (Jeff) Huffman; and three great grandchildren, sister Rhoda Jayne (Jerry) LaFever and three great-grandchildren, Cassie, Ian and Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years, Gordon Howell, on April 12, 2017 and a brother, Jack Lee.

Private funeral services were held. Wanda was laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Allen County S.P.C.A or the Fort Wayne Scottish Rite.
