Wilbur Quickery, 84, died Friday at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was owner of Wilbur Quickery Roofing when he retired. He loved fishing, golfing and his garden. He was a member of American Legion Post # 499. Surviving is his wife of 63 years,and the love of his life, Mary Jane Quickery, sons, Don Quickery, Coloma, MI, Dan (Joanne) Quickery, Ft. Wayne, IN, Dale (Michelle) Quickery, Ft. Wayne, IN, daughters, Sandy Ramsey, Marilyn Quickery, Carol (Clayton) Wilkinson, Margie (Todd) Garvison, all of Ft. Wayne, IN, brother Gene Quickery, 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by son, David, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Services are 5 p.m. Tuesday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday.
