Wilfred Weidler, 98,  passed away peacefully in his sleep  Friday December 18, 2020.   Born in Decatur, IN   He was a son to Fred and Viola Weidler. He was married to Ernestine Weidler, she preceded him in death.    He worked as a Diamond tool and die maker at Phelphs Dodge in Ft. Wayne. Wilfred enjoyed fishing, going to McDonalds, playing bingo, listing to the Carter family music and loved watching John Wayne movies.

He  is survived by his daughter, Susan Cook, seven   grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren, brother, Donald Weidler,  sisters, Anna Laura Hirschy and Mary Emma Lyons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife,  Ernestine, twin brother, Paul Weidler, brothers,  Arnold and Rudolph Weidler, sister, and Leona Stanley.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be a Memorial Service at a later date.  He will be inurned at Covington Memorial Gardens.
