William D. Achenbach, 83, of Fort Wayne passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital.  He was born October 23, 1937 in Chambersburg, PA a son of the late C.W. and Mildred (Durboraw) Achenbach.  He was a Vice President with United Telephone Company and a member of Tippecanoe Lake Country Club.  Surviving is his wife, Donna (Lewis) Achenbach; son, Will (Susan Ulrey) Achenbach; daughter, Adele (Marty) Frilot; step-daughters, Cindy (Dennis) Tucker; Lori (Bradley) Cone; and Pamela Stahly; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Mike Stahly.  Memorial service is 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd.
