William C. "Bill" Peach, 86, died Saturday November 5, 2011 at the Parkview Hospital. Born August 30, 1925 in Saltillo, Miss. to the late Joel L. and C. Maude Peach. William was a machinist for the Tokheim Corporation for 40 years. He also was a Navy Veteran of WWII. The family wishes to thank the staff of The Town House Retirement Community for their loving and compassionate care of Bill. Surviving are children, Linda S. (Mark A.) Ervin, Charlene A. Smith both of Ft. Wayne, IN., grandson, Chad N. Smith Las Vegas, NV. Nephews, Neal and Jimmy, nieces, Cheryl and Cynthia, sister-in-laws, Laverne and Imogene Peach He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Kenneth and Allen Peach and a sister, Imogene Pearce. Services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. Pastor Douglas Vogel officiating.
