William W. Seidel Jr., 87 died Sunday November 15, 2015. He was born March 19, 1928 in Erie, PA to the late William Sr. and Ida Seidel. Bill retired as Director of Purchasing and Supply and Transportation for GTE/Verizon after 39 years and was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of American Legion 47. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.

Surviving are his wife, Nila Seidel, children, Cathryn (Hugh) Kennen, William D. Seidel, Michael Seidel, Jan (Jim) Nunley, step-daughters, Cindy (George Barlag) Davis, Kelly (Drew) Withrow, a half brother, a half sister, and a host of grand and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step sister.

Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 2 hours prior to service. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers preferred memorials are to Heartland Hospice.
