William "Bill" Wagner, 68, of Avilla, died, Thursday, May 12, 2011 at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Ernest and Bette Wagner. The Marine veteran was a member of the American Legion Post 240 of Avilla and SAL of Legion Post 82.
He is survived by his daughter, Tamara (Mark) Catron of Georgia; grandchildren, Ashley and Chad; and sister, Shelly (Tom) Bair of Fort Wayne.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ted Wagner in 2008
Private Services were held at Covington Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Prefered memorial are to Parkview Home Health & Hospice.
