William R. Coolman 72 went home to be with his Lord after a 4-year courageous battle with cancer. Sunday at Lutheran Hospital. He was an Elder at North Highland Church of Christ. He worked at Harvester and Essex Corp. for 14 years each. "He is loved by all". He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Coolman, Ft. Wayne, daughters, Debbie (Christopher) Mays, Auburn, IN, Janet Coolman, Ft. Wayne, brother Paul Coolman, Ft. Wayne, sisters, Ruth Royer, Jackson, MI, Rebekah Coolman, Auburn, IN, 2 grandsons, Gavin and Clinton Mays. Services are 1:00 p.m. Thursday Oct. 28, at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 2 hours prior to service. Pastor Dave Altman officiating.
