In Loving Memory of William "Bill" Joseph Fiedler
It is with deep love and sadness that we share the passing of William Joseph "Bill" Fiedler. Bill will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, and a kind soul whose life was filled with music, creativity, and heart.
Bill is survived by two brothers Leonard, and Randy, life partner, Cindy Fiedler, his son Paul and Paul's wife Jordan, and their four children Hannah, Autumn, Harrison, and Adam who were the great joy of his life. He also leaves behind extended family, nieces, and nephews who knew him as "Grandpa Bill," a name he wore with pride and warmth.
A gifted musician and expert guitar player, Bill spent his life crafting sound and story through his music. As a luthier by trade, his hands shaped instruments carried the songs of others, and his own playing. Bill had a unique way of bringing people together whether through a tune, or a tale.
Some of the fondest memories shared by family include the times Bill would sit guitar in hand or spinning stories as freely as he strummed his strings. He was happiest when surrounded by those he loved, especially when cheering on his beloved Purdue Boilermakers basketball team. Game days were full of excitement, loyalty, a true fan to the core.
Beyond his talents, Bill will be remembered for his creativity, and the way he made everyone feel welcome. His legacy lives on in the music he shared, the stories he told, and the family who adored him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
