William K. McCalister, 85, of Fort Wayne passed away surrounded by the love of his family on January 25.  He was born September 21, 1936 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late William and Wanda (Strange) McCalister.

Bill was married to his highschool sweetheart, Barbara (Barnhart) McCalister, and were together for 65 years before her passing.  He earned a degree in architecture and owned his own business for many years, WKM Associates.  Bill enjoyed golf and bowling, but his passion was with the church and supporting missionary work.  He was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church.  He loved his wife and family dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Kyla Pesenecker; son, Cliff (Joy) McCalister; grandchildren, Kyle (Alicia), Molly (John), Cailey (Phil) and Jack; and four great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and darling wife, Bill was preceded in passing by his brother, Pat; and grandson, Michael.

Family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 2:30pm Tuesday, February 1 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN  46804, with the celebration of life service to follow at 2:30pm.
