William "Bill" Alan Messner, 74, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Chicago, IL, Bill was a son to the late Thoedore Albert and Martha Elizabeth (Mai) Messner. He was a high school graduate and worked in the manufacturing industry. Bill was a long-time member of Lifeway Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed assembling model airplanes, going to the shooting range and gardening. Surviving are his children, Sandra (Brenden Terrill) Messner, Aaron (Jennifer) Messner, Dana Messner and Jason Messner; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters. Memorial service 12:00pm (noon), Friday, May 17, 2024, at Lifeway Wesleyan Church, 7722 Moeller Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46806. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens at a later date.
