William Meyer, 53, of Columbia City, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at his home. Bill was born on December 31, 1954 to Paul and Lois Meyer in Fort Wayne. He had worked at Northern Indiana Trucking and was a member of Saturn Christian Church. Bill is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter Jamie; granddaughter Brooke; brother Gary (Barb); sister Paula; and step-son Chris (Amy). Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be at the funeral home from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Thursday.
