William "Bill" Samuel Hunt, 78, passed on October 21, 2013. Bill was born in Hulbert, Oklahoma on January 6, 1935, to the late Jesse Fielding Hunt and Mabel Marie (Wetherl) Hunt. He then married his wife and best friend, Muriel Lousie (Stanley) Hunt, September 20, 1956 in Denver, Colorado. He retired from the United States Air Force after serving 22 years and was a member of Wallen Baptist Church.

He is survived by his four children, James (Rosa) Hunt of Abilene, Texas, Loren (Lynn) Hunt Longmont, Colorado, Janis (Len) Chayka and Cindie Owensby both of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren, Samuel Owensby, Julie Auchtung, Kimberly Chayka, Elizabeth Evans, Emily Liechty, Kathryn Shappell, Brayden Chayka, Laura Garman, Isabella Guyer, Krystina Hunt, Tiffany Martin, Jesse Hunt, Tollis Hunt and Andrew Hunt; and 6 great grandchildren, Miles Owensby, William Shappell, Alexander Shappell, Aliza Martin, Haley Martin and Hunter Guyer.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Rosa Davis and Mary Jorgensen.
