Xiufen Sun, MD, 76, left this world on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in Fort Wayne, IN, after a long, courageous battle with a chronic illness. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  Born in Kaifeng, Henan, Xiufen was the daughter to the late Qingmin Liu and Yumei Sun. She married Xiuyi Wang on March 23, 1976 and he survives. Together, they had one child, Sarah (husband Bin) and their children, Jason and Lucinda. Xiufen worked as a primary care physician at Kongfen Hospital until her retirement on June 10, 1997. Xiufen enjoyed reading, exercising, cooking and particularly spending time with her family.
