YON MAXWELL BECKLER, 69 of Ft. Wayne passed away Thursday, October 23 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Valerie; daughter Diyon Fisher (Jared); son J.R. Beckler (Brookelynn); step-children Phoebe Richardson (Rob) and Randy Richardson; sisters Beverley Reiff, Karen Sponseller (Rusty), and Michelle Beckler; grandchildren Nicholas, Kole, Wyatt, Dominic, Macade, and Jayden; and many nieces and nephews. Yon was preceded in death by his sister Sharon Gothard. A celebration of life will be held 2:00pm Sunday Oct. 26, 2008 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1700 Pettit Ave. Memorial donations can be made to Faith Lutheran Church Outreach Program.
